For Today --

Your candidate may give reasons why he need not follow all of the
program. He may rebel at the thought of a drastic housecleaning
which requires discussion with other people. Do not contradict such
views. Tell him you once felt as he does, but you doubt whether you
would have made much progress had you not taken action.

Birthdays

Birthdays Today

When a person drowns himself in negative thinking he is committing an unspeakable crime against himself. ~ Maxwell Maltz

Birth of a God Box

Each god box is unique . They start from oak trees in Julian, California. But instead of being cut for fire wood they transform into a fine piece of art. The wood is brought down to my shop in Encinitas ,California, where I personally hand carve each individual box. They are sanded then finished with non-toxic Tung oil. Polished with organic soapstone, made up of pure carnauba wax and walnut oil. Each box is perfect in its imperfection. No two boxes are the same. What starts out looking like lump of wood, turns out to be an inspired piece of art. Its beauty is a gift of mother nature.

What is a God Box ?

A place to put a prayer, issues, good wishes to someone, or to unload anything that is troubling you. It has been used in different cultures, 12 step programs and various spiritual organizations
